EXCESS refers to the first amount (excess) which you shall be responsible as specified in the Schedule in respect of each and every claim payable (including costs and expenses and expenditure incurred by the insurance company in the conduct, defence and settlement of any claim) under the 'Loss or Damage To Your Vehicle' section and under 'Liability To Third Parties' section (covering damage to property as a result of an accident arising out of the use of your vehicle) as specified in the policy, in addition to any other excess that may be applicable.

In the event of any claim arising under the 'Loss or Damage To Your Vehicle' section, you are responsible in respect of each and every event for a compulsory excess of RM400.00 in addition to the excess stated in the Schedule (if any) IF your vehicle is being driven by the following persons authorised by you:

1. Any person under the Age of 21 years

2. Any person who is the holder of a Provisional (L) driving licence

3. Any person who is the holder of a Full Driving licence of less than 2 years

4. Any person not named in the Schedule

5. Any person named in the Schedule who is less than the age of 21 years and/or the holder of a provisional (L) driving licence and/or the holder of a Full Driving licence of less than 2 years
