Note:

It is a
condition of the policy of insurance that all accident must be
reported to the Insurer within a reasonable period of time. Failure to
do so will constitute a breach of the policy condition and will
entitle the Insurer to repudiate all liabilities that may arise out of
the accident or recovery of any monies paid as a result.

Always notify
your Insurer immediately of any accident (even if you do not intend to
make a claim against your own insurance policy) to protect yourself
and your Insurer against any liability that may arise out of the
accident.

To receive
immediate attention, you are always advised to submit your claim with
full documentation as prescribed directly to the General Claim
Counter/Department of the Insurer at the Head Office or any of its
nearest branch.

The above Claims
Procedure is only a general guide and may differ from company to
company. For further details always check with your insurer.

OWN DAMAGE CLAIM |
- You have decided to make a claim against
your own insurance company.

Send your vehicle to "Insurer's
Authorized Panel Workshop" only
-
In order for
your claims to be attended to promptly, kindly provide the insurer
with the following:
- *Original Insurer Claim Form (Duly
Completed and signed)

Scene Photos
taken at the time of accident or photos taken at the Police Station
-
Copies of:
-
Policy or
Cover
Note
-
Owner's and/or
Driver's Valid Driving License (both sides)
-
Owner's and/or
Driver's NRIC (both sides)
-
Updated Vehicle
Registration Card (both sides)
-
Business
Registration Certificate (applicable to Company Owned vehicles only)
-
Hire Purchase
Agreement (applicable for vehicles still with outstanding loan)
-
Photo or copy
of Valid Road Tax Disc
-
Certified Police Report
-
Repairer's
Estimate on the Damaged Vehicle
Note:
To receive
immediate attention, you are advised to submit your claim with full
documentation as prescribed above direct to the Head Office or any of the
Branch Offices. |
* Claim Form must
be collected personally by the Insured or Named Driver.
Should the vehicle be driven by someone other than the Insured or Named
Driver when the accident happened, BOTH the Insured and the Driver are to
be present at any Branch offices when collecting a claim form.

B.
WINDSCREEN BREAKAGE CLAIM |
- You may make the above claim for damage
sustained to your front and rear windscreen and your side windows
only.

In order for
your claims to be attended to promptly, please provide the insurer
with the following:
- *Original Insurer Claim Form (Duly
completed and signed)

Copy of your
policy or cover note.
-
Copy of
owner's and/or driver's NRIC (both sides)
-
Copy of
owner's and/or driver's Valid Driving License (both sides)
-
Copy of the
updated Registration Card (both sides)
-
Copy of
Business Registration Certificate (applicable to Company Owned vehicle
only)
-
Photo or copy
of valid Road Tax Disc
-
Certified
copy of Police Report
-
Photos of
Damaged AND Repaired Windscreen
-
Original
Cash/Final Repair Bill
Note: To avoid
submission for Items viii. and ix. above, you may drive your vehicle to
the Insurer Head Office or the nearest Branch Office for company's
inspection. Please be reminded that the Company requires to inspect your
DAMAGED and REPAIRED windscreen. Back

C.
KNOCK-FOR-KNOCK OWN DAMAGE CLAIM (KFK OD CLAIM) |
- The accident happened as a result of
another driver. In other words, you are not at fault.

You have decided
to make a claim against your own insurance policy. Your NCD or NCB
entitlement will not be forfeited, subject to the terms and conditions
as stated in the KFK Claim Declaration Form.

Additional
documents and information are required other than mentioned in Section
A - Own Damaged Claim.

Additional
documents and information required are as follows:

KFK Claim
Declaration Form (duly completed and signed).
-
Vehicle No.
and his/her insurance company's name of the party at fault.
-
Certified
Police reports of all Third parties involved in the accident.
-
Police
Outcome confirming the driver of the vehicle who has been summoned by
the police.
Advise
your Insurer that you are claiming against the Third Party.

THEFT CLAIM |
- In order for your claims to be attended
to promptly, please provide the insurer with the following:

Please
ensure your contact details and/or the person in the possession of the
vehicle before the theft is updated and accurate.
