DEFINITION OF THE DREAD DISEASE -

28.  ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE

The deterioration or loss of intellectual capacity or abnormal behavior as evidenced by clinical state and imaging techniques.  The unequivocal diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease must be confirmed by a consultant neurologist registered in Malaysia/Singapore, acceptable to the Company, and where assessment confirms the inability of the life insured to perform two (2) or more of the following Activities of Daily Living:

1. moving around the room without assistance

2. bathing

3. eating

4. using the lavatory

5. dressing

6. continence
